The EPSON print head calibration process
Why do the calibration?
If the printed text is like the graphics card installed driver, paste, then it is to be calibrated. If it is caused by the setting problems, then the clean and cool printing quality can be restored after the calibration. Set up problems, for example, brush the English firmware, etc.
Below is a comparison diagram, which is the result after the scan. In practice, the picture on the left is more paste.
How to start the calibration?
In the printer's control panel, select the maintenance menu, you can call out the horizontal and vertical calibration. Note that this is only a calibration, does not mean that the error can be adjusted once. Calibration is an iterative process, so some friends don't know how the process is done.
Calibration process
Here is the horizontal calibration thing, each calibration, the printer will spit out a piece of paper. There are small pieces on the paper, and then let us input which ones are the best quality into the printer. So that the printer is adjusted accordingly according to our feedback. Sometimes, the printer is too inaccurate, each calibration can only pull back a little bit, so it needs to calibration repeatedly. You'll find that each calibration makes the smaller pieces even better.
What kind of block is good? Small pieces without any gap, that is no white cracks and no overlap.
If there are no good blocks, choose which one? In this row, the one with the smallest gap and overlap, usually on the side.
The 7-times calibration process is attached below:
As you can see, the printer constantly adjusts the offset according to the good results of my circle, and the most beautiful one is basically perfect.
