Kyocera KJ4B-QA06NTB-MS6V-4B Printhead Description

The latest Kyocera KJ4B-QA printhead is designed for high-speed printing with water-based inks, delivering outstanding performance with a resolution of 600 dpi. It operates at a maximum drive frequency of 30kHz and produces high-quality prints with a small drop volume of 5pl at a speed of 75 m/min. The printhead features 2,656 nozzles distributed across a 108.25 mm wide swathe, achieving 30,000 drops per second with a 0.042mm pitch.

To enhance print reliability, the Kyocera KJ4B-QA incorporates internal filters to remove ink impurities and an internal heater to counteract external temperature fluctuations. Its unique ink channel design ensures a stable ink supply, further improving the consistency and quality of prints.

Engineered for high-speed applications, the Kyocera KJ4B series is ideal for both single-pass printing, such as transaction, document, and security printing with MICR ink, and multi-pass printing, including textile applications.
